Length is key here but it also has to be impossible for someone to guess. So the dogs name, your street – even your favourite football team shouldn’t be used.

The easiest way to create a long password is to stitch two random words together then some rhyming numbers… such as, bigandBlue442 – that’s 13 characters, nonsensical yet memorable.

Remembering passwords is tough too – but luckily there’s a way to manage that.
